Nick Leuenberger (Tinga Management)
I started my career in the rolling hills of Hluhluwe National Park in Kwazulu Natal as a Ranger. I later moved to Kruger National Park and guided in one of the private concessions. It is there I met my Fiancé Kerry. The next step was a small tented camp in the Thornybush Game reserve. This is where I took up my first management roll but still conducted game drives and walks on a daily basis. The next 5 years were spent in Botswana; I hung up my guiding rifle and took on a full time Management roll. We are now back in our beloved Kruger heading up the Tinga Team.
I still love getting out into the bush on walks and drive and I am a passionate wildlife Photographer, Birder and Fisherman.

Kerry Croll (Tinga Management)
I have a hotel back ground but fell in love with the bush on my first posting in 1996 and haven’t looked back. It’s been a very rewarding career, meeting the most amazing people, gaining incredible friendships and been privileged to be witness to nature in her full glory. I was also lucky to have met Nick, my soon to be husband, on a concession in the Kruger Park, spent five amazing years together in the wilderness of Botswana and are fortunate enough to be back home in the Kruger Park, at Tinga.
I have learnt that as harsh as nature can be she also gives you so much back – safari should come with a warning as it is addictive, once it’s in your blood you can never dream of leaving.

Quentin Swanevelder (Head Ranger)
I started guiding in 2001 in the Eastern Lowveld of South Africa. After 3 years of guiding in the small reserves surrounding the Kruger National Park I decided to follow my Passion for conducting walking safaris. I spent the next 2 years doing 3 and 4 day walking safaris in the greater Kruger area, gaining many hours and encounters on foot. An opportunity came up to work in the Kruger National park which I leapt at and have been guiding at Tinga since 2006. Doing guided walks will always be my passion and I regard myself as one of the lucky few who have the opportunity to work in The Kruger National Park.
